Our Philosophy
Classically Grounded
When you listen to the radio these days, it feels like some artists don’t know the basics of music. There is a need to progress the creative art, but not at the expense of its foundation. Our artists know and base their work in the rich history of music. Driving melodies, a “real” tone, sounds that connect you to the rest of life.
Electronically Inspired
We’re in touch with the traditional basics of music but we are taking those sounds to new heights. From our in-house synths to pulsating rhythms, our tight editing and polished sound is inspired by the world of electronic music.
Our Leadership Team
Tilon
Creative Director
Music allows for the expression of thoughts and feelings through a medium beyond our grasp. In high school, Tilon found inspiration from indie and folk artists such as Passenger and Mumford and Sons. Alternative artists such as Eden and Novo Amor have captivated him by their ability to combine genres and forge into unexplored areas. He appreciates electronic artists such as Said the Sky, Nurko, and Illenium for their melodic base.
He brings a holistic view of music to PAXABELLUM Records and a desire to see people’s passions realized and shared with the world. As a singer, songwriter, and producer, Tilon brings musical understanding and unique perspective to the artists he works with. Tilon lives in Caronport SK and is pursuing higher education while expanding his knowledge of musical engineering.
Jadon
Business Director
From the very beginning, music was a driving influence for Jadon. As a young child he played piano competitively, and found inspiration in the works of Brahms, Prokofiev, and Vivaldi. As he grew he was secluded musically, engrossing himself in classic records by Boston, U2 and the Beatles. Exposed to electronic music for the first time in college, Jadon has been captivated by the melodic-driven songs of Aviici, Owl City, and Illenium.
Jadon bring to PAXABELLUM Records a passion for the total musical experience. A belief that stems from his classical days is that an album should flow, each song impacting the next like the movements of a symphony. A business and marketing guru, Jadon brings years of management and technical know-how to the label’s artists. Jadon lives in Kelowna BC with his wife and dog.
