WakingTide is a classical electronica duo that combines different musical styles in the pursuit of a uniquely immersive listening experience. The pair are founded on extensive classical training with a deep appreciation for complex counterpoint, syncopation, and transportive melodies. In conjunction with electronic sounds and styles, WakingTide is able to support vocally lead songs as well as instrumentals.
Like their label Paxabellum Records, they believe music is not something that is just to be listened to, but rather something that the listener and creator can participate in together. The music does not end when the track finishes, but should impact the listener on a deeper, more personal level. We want our music to inspire contemplation, connection, and change.
